My Pho is a Vietnamese restaurant located on Chapman Ave in Orange right by El Modena High School. It opens at 10:30 a.m. and closes at 9:00 p.m. It tends to get particularly busy around 6:00 p.m. The menu offers many Vietnamese delicacies from the very tasty egg and spring rolls to the famous Pho soup. They offer chicken, beef, rare or cooked, and seafood soup. A couple days ago I went to My Pho and placed my order.

Since California is still in Covid restrictions, My Pho is only offering takeout. Personally, takeout doesn’t bother me, but if you want to eat then and there, there are many other Vietnamese restaurants in Southern California that offer dining outside. After I ordered a Chicken Pho with a side of egg rolls, I got a bag with the food in it. There will be a cup for the broth, which is extremely hot, and a cup for the meat and rice noodles. If you order a side, you will get another small container.

After I got back home, I put my soup together and started eating. First off ,you have to taste the broth before anything else. What I discovered was that the chicken broth was very flavorful and savory. The chicken was tender, and the noodles were delicious. Next, I ate the egg rolls; they were really warm in the middle and were fried perfectly. I tried the fish oil they gave me, and I thought it was alright. Overall, the egg rolls were delectable. Also, since I went at a time that was near the Super Bowl, they gave me a sample of ceviche which was surprisingly tasty.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience going to the restaurant. I love Vietnamese cuisine and My Pho is one of the best places in Orange County that offers great food.
