Two freshmen, Lilian Duran and Isabella Novella, started a mental health awareness club called Find Our Balance.

Find Our Balance is about helping other teens cope and express their feelings. If you have anxiety due to school, COVID, or family, this club is a safe spot for you. Through webinars, seminars, and other activities, the club focuses on teaching you how to relieve stress, eating disorders, anxiety, and more.

They have an Instagram @findourbalance.forteens; on that page, you will be able to see the google classroom code, all of their updates on when their meetings will be held, and some fun activities. Some of the fun activities have been ¨What are some song suggestions to play at our meeting¨ and they have been posting them with cute stickers. They will be having nights where you can paint, this can help you express how you are feeling.

If you are interested you can go to their Instagram page, and you will be able to see the link in their bio. It asks you your name, phone number, email, and if you want to be a cabinet member or a regular member. The cabinet includes positions where you are on the board with Lilian and Isabella who are the Co-Founders, and they will be selecting 2 publicists, which are the people who post stuff and get the word out there, along with the spirit coordinator, and one secretary.

If you want to join their Google Classroom the code is 6xjqse5. In the Google Classroom, you will be able to find all of the activities and the forms to sign up for them. The first meeting is on February 8th at 3:30 pm, and they will be talking about how the club will work on the day they will send you a link to their meeting. If you signed the form to be one of the cabinets they will say who got what position on February 26th. These nights are called webinars.

This is a great way to help relieve any stresses you may have been holding in.
