The Tesla Cybertruck is an all battery-powered vehicle made by Tesla, with at least three models that have been announced. The truck is estimated to have 250-500 miles and a 0-60 mph time of 2.9 to 6.5 seconds depending on what type of model truck it is. The truck is bulletproof against small firearms, and has “armour” glass. There wasn’t a lot of promotions or advertisements for the Cybertruck, but has gained a lot of popularity from memes on the internet, which are created by people around the world. 

“Anything is going to be a plus and it’s good that they’re releasing solar powered cars and not CO2 emitting cars,“ said Mr. Fenwick, science teacher.

When tested live, the “armour” glass broke, and many fans were shocked, as when it was against small firearms, the glass seemed to have little to no damage done to it. 

“There’s a new car being released in 2020 that I really like, it has almost the same idea as the cybertruck and I think it’s cool, but it’s made by Voltswagon and it’s also an electric vehicle,“ stated Mr. Fenwick.

The Cybertruck’s cost is around $39,900 – $49,900, and depending on the type of model, some models can cost up to $70,000. The Cybertruck is also good at offroading, according to experiments that were done with the Cybertruck. Along with buying a Cybertruck, you have the ability to choose Tesla’s “self-driving” option for $7,000. Elon Musk has claimed that the vehicle will be available with built-in solar charging capabilities, but has declined to say whether or not it will be included or if it will just be an option.

“The car I have right now is fine and if I were to ever get a new car then I’d probably get a solar powered car like the cybertruck, or the new Volkswagen,” said Mr. Fenwick.

Many people say that the Tesla Cybertruck is a “joke,” yet others say it’s a revolutionary design and that they are fairly priced for a battery-powered vehicle that can do a lot of things and has a lot of popularity around it.
